RELIGIOUS PORTFOLIO

Our Savior Lutheran Church
Laurel, Maryland

The soaring, west-facing tower of Our Savior catches the last rays of the setting sun, highlighting the cross which is composed of milk white diffuse glass.

The interior of the church features one of the last organs produced by the Moeller Organ Company in Hagerstown, Maryland. The design of the organ case, chest and console was coordinated with the furnishings for the chancel and the Sanctuary.

At night, the interior Sanctuary lighting gives the cross window a different appearance from inside and out, and the surrounding tinted glass casts a warm glow across the Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary’s warm wood tones contrast with the cool tile floor and white walls, while the contemporary banners and fabric art add splashes of playful color that create a welcoming environment for worship.
