These are images of some of my favorite and most interesting ​work over the past decades. The Architectural work dates from mid-1980's and later. The Paintings are more recent but you will find exploration of many of the same themes.

One of the areas in which I have been interested for many years is the notion of finding interesting expressions from seemingly simple geometric forms. Basic Euclidian shapes are combined and overlain to expose the richness produced in the intersections.

 

Using the immense flexibility of various Acrylic media, I am investigating not only the traditional issues of form and composition, but issues of texture and layering. Heavy body acrylics and especially heavy gel media lend themselves easily to built up textures and manipulation using not only traditional painting tools, but other simple utilitarian objects such as combs, knives & forks and even fingers.
